One year my band played at the Warped Tour.
I'm currently studying to become a Certified Lactation Consultant (CLE).
I'm one half of Page + Pixel, a photography and design service with clients in the fabric design and craft sewing industries.

I am located in the San Francisco Bay Area
and am available to work with clients throughout Northern California.
My family and I call El Cerrito and the Richmond Annex home.
I also travel to Wisconsin and Minnesota several times a year and would love to work with you there.

I started my first photography business in 2008. After several years of shooting weddings and portraits, I left the industry because I felt uninspired - like I wasn't doing anything that mattered. Although I loved my job, my heart just wasn't in it. I took an in-house job at a publishing company and shot editorial work for 3.5 years - and thought I would never do anything different ever again.

Then, in 2015, I had my son. And, though it sounds cliche, everything changed.

After experiencing birth and bringing home Jack, I felt incredibly connected to the experience that we as women face during pregnancy, labor and in the first year as parents. It's amazing - incredible - but it's also hard. It's lonely. It's life-changing in good and difficult ways. For some women, it is traumatic. For some, it is easy. But for all of us, it is the beginning of a whole new part of our lives.

I believe that birth, new baby + new family photography heals and supports new parents. After experiencing it myself, I started to feel incredibly inspired and driven to work with other mamas, babies and families in the first year following birth.

BABYLOVE is about birth, babies and bonding. I am here to capture these times with quiet, gentle editorial photography that illustrates the experience.

Each Mama, each baby, and each family will experience BABYLOVE differently, though our goal is always the same - to document, to heal, and to support the transition to parenthood.
